It’s all about connection.

In today’s fast paced technologically changing business environment, more and more people are engaging their customers with video content, whether that is on social media, YouTube or on their websites.

But getting in front of a camera can be intimidating and connecting with your audience is tricky if you’re nervous or lacking in confidence.

This is where I can help.

As an experienced screen actress, being in front of a camera doesn’t phase me and as a facilitator I have the skills to share what I’ve learnt after 20 years in the entertainment industry.

In my workshops I can teach you

  • How to set up your camera to show you at your best
  • Vocal and breath exercises that increase confidence and calm nerves
  • Presentation skills – one to one or in groups
  • Acting classes to teach the basics of connecting with an audience with authenticity and presence

Here are what some of my previous clients have said;

I was very grateful to have the opportunity to receive a ‘camera confidence’ tutorial from Melanie. She provided useful tips and gave a great demonstration, delivered with the perfect mix of skill, personality and professionalism. I thoroughly recommend availing of her services.

It enabled me to reengage with my practical theatre training, the importance of preparing my body for performance and rememberance that control of the breath informs my words.

Melanie is so supportive and encouraging and gives you really personalised advice. I’m using her tips on breathing and warming up your voice every day before doing client calls and feel more grounded as a result. It’s so helpful to be able to benefit from all her years of TV and acting experience and she’s helped me to think about lighting and positioning without getting hung up on details. She is good at demystifying what can often seem like a techy and intimidating process, so that it actually feels empowering.
